FAQs
Find answers to common questions about your Leysern system.
Getting Started
No. LSA2RN is designed for countertop use and does not require a water-line connection. Place it on a flat, stable surface near a dedicated 120V outlet, fill the feedwater tank with municipal tap water, and follow the startup procedure.
Rinse the removable water-contact components, fill the feedwater tank to the MAX line, and install it securely. Run the 60-second forced flush as shown in the User Manual, then drain and discard approximately 1.6-2.4 gallons of purified water before normal use. Do not drink flushed or drained water.
Water Quality & Daily Use
Use municipal tap water, or water that is microbiologically safe and adequately disinfected. The specified feedwater temperature range is 41-100°F (5-38°C).
TDS stands for Total Dissolved Solids. The displayed value helps you observe changes in purified-water quality. It is a reference reading rather than a laboratory-grade measurement, so small variations are normal.
Small air bubbles can appear temporarily as trapped air moves through the water path. Complete the required flushing procedure. If cloudiness, unusual taste, or odor does not clear after proper flushing, stop drinking the water and contact Leysern Customer Support.
Some water remains because reverse osmosis separates dissolved substances from the source water. Do not continuously top off old residual water. When prompted to refresh the feedwater, or if the water has been sitting for more than 24 hours, discard the remaining water, rinse the tank, and refill it with fresh tap water.
Filters & Maintenance
Replace the filter approximately every 12 months, or earlier when the filter-life indicator requires it. Actual filter life depends on water quality and usage. On LSA2RN, blue means the filter is in good condition, purple means replace soon, and red means replace immediately.
Install the new filter securely, reset the filter-life counter, and complete the required filter flush before drinking the water. Do not drink flushed or drained water.

If the purifier will be unused for 5 days or more, disconnect the power, fully drain the applicable water tanks, remove the filter, wrap it securely in food wrap, and store it in the refrigerator. Do not freeze the filter. Flush the system after reinstalling the filter.
Troubleshooting
Check that the feedwater tank contains water, the tank and cover are correctly installed, and the filter is not clogged or expired. During startup or when the purified-water supply is low, the unit may temporarily pause dispensing while it produces more purified water.
Confirm that the required startup or post-replacement flushing procedure was completed. If the filter has reached the end of its service life, replace it and flush the new filter before use. If unusual taste or odor remains after proper flushing, stop drinking the water and contact Leysern Customer Support.
Stop using the purifier and check that removable components are correctly aligned and securely installed. If a connection is damaged or the leak appears to come from inside the unit, unplug the purifier and contact Leysern Customer Support. Do not disassemble the unit yourself.
Getting Started
No. LSA4RM is designed for countertop use and does not require a water-line connection. Place it on a flat, stable surface near a dedicated 120V outlet and follow the startup procedure.
Rinse the feedwater tank and purified-water pitcher, fill the tank to the MAX line, and install the tank, cover, and pitcher securely. After power-on, the system automatically performs a 2-minute filter flush. Then allow the pitcher to fill and drain it completely 3 times. The full startup process takes about 30 minutes. Before drinking chilled water for the first time, dispense and discard 32 oz of chilled water.
Water Quality & Daily Use
Use municipal tap water, or water that is microbiologically safe and adequately disinfected. The specified feedwater temperature range is 41-100°F (5-38°C).

When prompted to refresh the feedwater, or if the water has been sitting for more than 24 hours, discard the remaining water, rinse the tank, and refill it with fresh tap water.
Temperature & Dispensing
Cold mode is designed for approximately 43-52°F (6-11°C). During initial setup, allow up to 45 minutes for the water to chill. If the COLD icon flashes three times and the unit beeps twice, chilled water is not yet ready or the cooling function is turned off. Make sure the pitcher contains sufficient purified water.
The cold-water tank needs time to cool newly supplied purified water after a larger amount has been dispensed. Allow the cooling system to recover before dispensing additional chilled water.
Select the desired hot-water setting and unlock the child lock before dispensing water at 110°F or above. Keep hands away from the outlet. After switching from hot water to cold or warm water, flush with cold water for about 10 seconds before drinking to clear residual hot water. At the 198°F setting, the actual outlet temperature is approximately 193-195°F due to heat loss during dispensing.
